  YES! I finally found another good Shanghainese place in the South Bay!
  I am a huge fan of Shanghainese cuisine, and this place definitely lived up to my expectations.
  
  We ordered the bamboo, pork belly sticky rice and it was the best of the three items we ordered. The meat was super well stewed and the sticky rice was cooked perfectly. We also ordered the soup dumplings, which had a nice, thin skin and a lot of soup. The griddled pork buns could have been better, however. They were super bready and not grilled enough.
  
  Overall I would love to come back to try their other dishes!

  the noodles and the eggplant dishes were so oily/greasy! i threw away the whole eggplant dish after a few bites. what a waste. it tasted and smelled so weird and vinegary. the noodles & eggplant tasted and smelled like 99 ranch store.
  
  i don't get the high ratings for this place. it's a very small kinda divey place. i ordered to go and had to wait about 45 minutes for my food and they weren't very crowded at the time.
  
  the chicken fried rice (if you can find or taste any chicken) was the only dish that was edible. it was nothing special and tasted very bland. the only dish they didn't use a crapload of oil.
  
  not worth $36 at all. won't be returning.
  
  there are better places that don't use a boatload of oil. unless you like it like that.

  Was excited to try this place but boy was it disappointing. Pretty much all the bad reviews on here are on point. The Dan Dan noodles were still raw when they gave it to us. The sauce was salty and barely any Szechuan pepper at all. Xiao long bao was passable and juice was too sugary. The green onion pancake was powdery when it's supposed to be crispy layers and flaky. I've had frozen ones that were more appetizing. The pan fried buns were the worst. The dough for the buns were dry and bread like when it's supposed to be chewy and moist. They were mostly broken and dry inside.
  
  What was even more disappointing was that when we asked for the check....most of all the dishes were barely even touched and no one there thought it was odd and even asked why we didn't eat the food, let alone even request to take it to go. I think it's because they know it's bad too. Lol

  Classic Chinese place with really good Xiao long bao and good portions! Came here with a party of 2 with no line.
  
  Food: Got the XLB, The Dan Dan noodle, the pork belly, and the string beans. The XLB was probably the best since it was super soupy and very savory. The pork belly was second best since it had sticky rice and was really filling and had a nice presentation. I enjoyed the dandan noodles but the noodles were a bit underwhelming in taste.
  
  Service: The waiters are super attentive here and kept hovering over our table ready to help clean up for us!
  
  Ambiance: Very homey and comfortable Asian eatery!
  
  Overall enjoyed the experience and would want more Asian food sometime!

  Very bad service.  We were seated fast but waited 10 min for tea and for waitress to take our order. Another 10 min for water, after I asked a second time.  I will say the waitress was very nice and friendly though.
  
  Moving on, all kinds of tables get their food before us even though we ordered first, and 15 minutes later, yes another 15 minutes, a different  waitress comes out to ask what we ordered.  No explanation, no apology for messing something up. Oh, and never brought back a tea pot refill.  She took the pot though.  10 min later I asked for tea again.  Yes, you're hearing correctly.  The dinner took roughly 1.25 hours; 15 or 20 minutes of it actual eating.  Kind of slow for a chinese place, right?
  
  What saved the review from a 1 star is that the food was actually pretty good.  XLB were a little on the drippy side but tasty.  Sauteed string beans very good!  Won ton in spicy oil were just ok.  They add some kind of lemongrass seasoning, so maybe you'll like that.  Wor won ton soup was just "eh".  Lots of mushrooms if you like that.  Bland soup.  Fried rice was really, really good.  A couple pieces of bacon in there are the secret ingredient.  
  
  My wife convinced me to cut them a break on the service.  Chalk it up to a bad night.
